What is the function of air filter

Engine in the process of work to suck in a lot of air, if the air is not filtered, the suspended dust in the air is sucked into the cylinder, will accelerate the piston group and cylinder wear.  Larger particles entering between the piston and cylinder can cause a serious "cylinder pull" phenomenon, which is especially serious in dry and sandy working conditions.  The air filter is installed in the front of the carburetor or the intake pipe, to filter the dust and sand in the air, to ensure that sufficient and clean air is entered into the cylinder

In maintenance, the paper filter must not be put in the oil cleaning, otherwise the paper filter will fail, but also easy to cause speed accidents.  Maintenance, can only use vibration method, soft brush division (along its wrinkle brush) or compressed air back blowing method to remove the dust and dirt attached to the surface of the paper filter core.  For the coarse filter part, the dust in the dust collecting part, leaf and cyclone pipe should be removed in time.  Even if each time can be carefully maintained, the paper filter element can not fully restore the original performance, the intake resistance will increase, therefore, when the paper filter element needs to carry out the fourth maintenance, it should be replaced with a new filter element.  If the paper filter element is broken, perforated or the filter paper and the end cover are degummed, it should be replaced immediately.
