Car oil filter

2021-10-18

The e car oil filter is located on the side of the engine block, the lower, larger part of the engine.  An oil pump circulates oil through the engine.  Each time the oil cycle, it passes through a filter, which protects the engine by catching any large particles in the oil that could damage the engine.  The oil filter should be replaced when the oil is changed.  The oil filter serves a dual purpose. It also protects the engine by retaining a small amount of oil when the car stalls.  The part that makes this retention possible is called the vent valve.  When the engine is stationary, oil is discharged to the bottom of the engine. When the car starts again, the moving parts at the top of the engine are not properly lubricated, but in the first few seconds after the car starts, the small amount of oil remaining in the filter is rapidly circulated to the top of the engine, restoring proper lubrication as soon as possible.  There are many different types of oil filters available.  The standard version is usually sufficient, assuming it will be replaced within 3,000 miles (4,828 km).  However, an important feature is the drainage valve;  An oil filter with this valve will retain the oil when the vehicle is turned off and provide valuable lubrication on the top of the engine for the first few seconds after startup. As mentioned above, it is also important to avoid any fancy techniques.  A good example is the oil filter produced by a leading manufacturer, which circulates teflon ® through the engine with the oil.  However, teflon ® is a semi-solid substance that can block small oil passages in the engine. Filters containing Teflon ® in the filter material are not recommended, but filters containing TEflon ® in the gasket will not have any adverse effect on the engine.  It is important to change your car's oil filter every 3,000 miles or three months, whichever comes first.  Because the oil filter's job is to catch large particles, to prevent them from damaging the engine, it's a safe bet that after 3,000 miles, it's likely to get clogged.  A clogged filter creates more resistance to the flow of engine oil, clogging the oil duct and preventing oil from reaching all parts of the engine.  To prevent serious damage due to inadequate lubrication, the oil filter must be replaced regularly
