The function of the fuel filter

The function of the fuel filter is to filter the harmful particles and water in the engine fuel gas system to protect the oil pump nozzle, cylinder liner, piston ring and so on, reduce wear and avoid blockage.  

Iron oxide, dust and other solid impurities contained in the fuel are removed to prevent the blockage of the fuel system (especially the nozzle).  Reduce mechanical wear, ensure stable operation of the engine, improve reliability.  Even if diesel before joining diesel fuel tank after the precipitation and filtering, is clean, but in the process of gas, due to come on tools, come on factors such as environment, fuel tank is not clean mouth still can make diesel pollution, and in the process of diesel engine operation, due to deposition of impurities in the fuel oil system, floating dust in the air, also can make diesel pollution,  That's why a diesel filter is essential, and diesel isn't always clean before it's added to the tank.
